Synopsis

In the tradition of Norman Lear shows like All in the Family and One Day at a Time, this laugh-out-loud comedy follows old-school car wash owner, Henry, who is thrilled that his estranged child is returning to Alabama after 17 years. When the child he thought was a son returns to the church-going, rural South as the determined, proud, trans woman, Desiree, this father/daughter odd-couple has to get to know each other all over again, with a lot of trial and error.
