Synopsis

Former competitive runner turned photographer Aisha McAdams documents the triumphs and struggles of elite ultra runners Jim Walmsley, Eszter Csillag and Vincent Bouillard at Western States and UTMB. Along the way, Aisha confronts her own painful past and the reasons she stepped away from racing, a pursuit that once gave her a much-needed sense of freedom, joy and belonging.
