Synopsis

Michael Apted's rollicking portrait of Soviet rock legend Boris Grebenshchikov, who in 1988 became the first to record in the West during Glasnost's optimistic early days, making an album with Dave Stewart, Annie Lennox, Chrissie Hynde, and Ray Cooper. With a new epilogue that brings Boris's journey up to date, including his exile for speaking out against the invasion of Ukraine.
