Synopsis

Omar Bradley was promoted to brigadier general in February 1941. A year later, he assumed command of the 82nd Infantry Division. Operation TOCH, the landing in French North Africa, was his first tour of duty on the front lines. This was followed by the Tunisian Campaign, the landing in Sicily, the invasion of Normandy, the entry into Paris, and the Battle of the Bulge.
