Synopsis

At first, the war hardly changes the lives of Berlin's citizens. While we now see fewer young men on the streets-and those we do see are in uniform-far from the front lines, everything initially seems to continue as normal. Families and leisure activities are filmed, and only gradually do the scenes reveal the changes in everyday life…
