Synopsis

Skip Hallisy is a former Hollywood TV host whose fading fame and insufferable personality lead to a spectacular cancellation. Broke and disgraced, he relocates his dysfunctional family to Bakersfield taking a job he despises on the local morning show Good Mornin' Bakersfield, while plotting an obnoxious, self-destructive comeback.
