Synopsis

Mark Rylance is Thomas Cromwell, the brilliant consigliere to King Henry VIII, as he maneuvers the corridors of power in the Tudor court, rising from humble beginnings to become an accomplished back-room power broker. Damian Lewis plays King Henry VIII in the throes of a tempestuous relationship with Anne Boleyn (Claire Foy), ruling an England on the brink of monumental religious upheaval.
