Synopsis
A city mechanic living a thankless existence in the city escapes to a peaceful village where he meets Barbara and rediscovers his appetite for life. City mechanic Gerard fed up with being used by his unfaithful wife and family secretly escapes to a peaceful village of the French countryside to start a new life.
