Synopsis

Two women unable to live true to themselves: one trapped by society's pressures with nowhere left to turn, and another overwhelmed by the fear and burden of human relationships. Left behind by the times, they meet at a boarding house, where two more women await. Another woman is on the run after embezzling 300 million yen.
