Synopsis

In 2002 the mutilated body of a woman is discovered by her children in the seaside town of Bournemouth. In her hands are two clumps of precisely trimmed hair. Police are mystified and then several women report having their hair secretly cut by a strange man in public. But the hunt to find the killer takes police to Potenza in Italy, 1,000 miles away.
