Synopsis

Two Jewish brothers' parents are killed in WWII and their only possession is a family photo that they tear in half, each keeping a piece. The boys become separated and older brother Ilya is taken in by a peasant couple who risk their lives to hide him from the Nazis. Ilya never gives up hope of being reunited with his brother and decades later, he receives a phone call that changes his life.
