Synopsis

When Bill Shankly first managed Liverpool he always said his aim was to scale the heights of European success. That Liverpool have done so on so many occasions is a testament to Shankly and also those who followed him in the dynastic succession that has lead to final after final, and more Cup wins than any other English Club.
