Synopsis

Set in England during the Napoleonic Wars at the beginning of the 19th century, the series presents an alternative history where magic is widely acknowledged but rarely practiced. Two men of destiny, the gifted recluse Mr. Norrell and daring spellcasting novice Jonathan Strange, use their magic power to help England. So begins a dangerous battle between two great minds.
