Synopsis

Clint Eastwood stars and directs this drama about a film director with a powerful obsession that brushes everyone and everything else aside--an obsession that becomes ever more deadly. Based on the 1953 novel by Peter Viertel, White Hunter, Black Heart fictionalizes a relationship between Viertel and director John Huston during filming of The African Queen in the heart of Africa.
