Synopsis

It was the case that shook Mexico to its very core. Four young men, all children of powerful, affluent families, kidnapped and raped a classmate in Mexico’s port of Veracruz. For Daphne Fernández, life would never be the same. For her father Javier (Eugenio Derbez), Daphne’s rape would be the beginning of an improbable saga of redemption that would pit the Fernández family against the very system that denied Daphne the justice she deserved.
