Synopsis

A one-hour drama following Hawaiian born female detective Renee Ballard who stands her ground navigating the politics of being a diverse female cop in the male dominated LAPD post #MeToo and BLM while being a veteran of the most challenging shift, the night shift. That is until Ballard is appointed to lead a new cold case unit and come into the daylight in the LAPD stomping ground of ally and mentor retired Harry Bosch.
