Synopsis
In war-torn China, Captain Cliff Brandon (Victor Mature) gives money to a beggar, only to find out it was for housekeeping by the beggar’s pretty daughter, Shu-Jen (Li-Hua Li)! Before long, they fall in love. But can love survive the ravages of war?
