Synopsis

In the waters off Japan, a SDF submarine sinks in an accident. Its captain, Commander Shiro Kaieda, and all 76 members of its crew are reported as hopelessly lost, shocking all of Japan. But in truth, they all live. Their team was selected to operate a nuclear submarine created in secret between Japan and the US, and the reported accident was a cover-up operation to enable them to crew Japan’s first nuclear submarine..
