Synopsis
Based on a true story, RACE THE SUN tells the story of an attractive new science teacher at Hawaii's Kona Pali High School who takes on a bunch of bored and disillusioned students. When she gives them the inspiration to design and build their own solar-powered car she brings hope back into their world.
