Synopsis

After serving 15 years in prison for a crime he did not commit, Ben Jordan (Rutger Hauer) is a free man. When he's assigned to social worker Laura Mathews (Natasha Richardson), Laura begins to research his case. She even visits the town where the crime occurred and meets with a doubtful witness named Larry and his protective older brother Todd. Convinced of Ben's innocence, Laura returns home...
