Synopsis

Having left Virginia at the end of the Civil War, Confederate Army veterans and best friends Dan Thomas (William Holden) and Tod Ramsey (Glenn Ford) head for Texas. Narrowly escaping jail after relieving a team of stagecoach bandits of their loot, the pair splits up, with Tod going to work for rancher Dusty King and then promptly falling in love with his daughter, Mike, while Dan finds himself...
