Synopsis

Dear Sirs is a political drama set in 1954 that portrays the struggle of the suffragist movement in Colombia. Esmeralda Arboleda, one of the country's first female lawyers, leads with intelligence and courage the battle in the National Constituent Assembly to secure women's right to vote, facing fierce opposition and personal sacrifices in pursuit of historic change.
