Synopsis
The Tragically Hip was labeled “Canada’s Band” early on in their career and became a source of pride for so many in the country who were thirsty for something to call their own, something specifically not American. They released 13 studio albums, and over 50 singles in their 33-year career. Nine of their albums reached No 1 on the Canadian charts, and were the best selling Canadian band in Canada between 1996-2016. After the death of their lead vocalist Gord Downie in 2017, the Hip are now ready to tell their fully complete story for the first and final time, as they take us on their journey from the early days through their final chapter.
